Dahiba Shafiqa : Egypt has a melody which is the rythm of my heartbeat |
||
This just about says everything... Music is a wonderful instrument to bring cultures together. To see the person, to be open, create love, trust and harmony. Dancing is visual music and my happiness is unconditional love as well as the urge to live it. I want people to be part of my happiness. I listen to what comes out of my heart. Living my vocation makes me a free person and I feel the touch of the divine - which is then transferred on to other people. Music and dance is my way of life, especially oriental dancing. The search for true happiness begins in Egypt, the roots of my feeling, and I think the longing for the intensity of the moment should be felt by all my fellow men. It is a long, but rewarding road. Awe in your doing brings a soft flow to our lives. Practicing this, we can then share with everyone on the globe and we can be as one with people from other cultures. Looking with your heart can open your eyes, every one of us has their own vocation, their melody and I would like to welcome you to Egypt if you like oriental dancing. |

This could be a journey to yourself, oriental dancing is a way of life, an open door to yourself, apart from just copying. It should inspire you and show you the way to get to know yourself better. It is a pleasure and vocation in one and everything depends on how it is taught and why. I teach this wonderful dance with my heart and my deep feeling by the roots of my life. My philosophy is a guide to a journey to yourself to a new understanding of your life and a deeper insight to dancing, as well as to bring a better feeling and respect towards people from different cultures.
